We will donate 36 coats to the Coats for Kids Spooktacular scheduled for tomorrow evening at the Crying Eagle! Please see the information below if you'd like to join us for a silent auction, live music, and of course beer & food! For those who cannot attend, I am proud to represent you at this special event! We are currently at 32 coats and accessories for the Coats for Kids Spooktacular that is hosted at Crying Eagle and sponsored by our local Kiwanis Club! Bayou Storage Downtown will accept all gently used/new coats or accessories until 10/26 at 5:30pm. Please spread the word! Drop off at 112 W 11th St.

Hi,
Bayou Storage is aiming to be more active in our community by partnering with local affinity groups.
We want your help! The Crying Eagle Brewing is hosting a Kiwanis Club annual event called "Coats for Kids Spooktacular" on October 28th. I will be attending personally, and I want to invite you as well. There will be food, music, beer, and a silent auction.
If you cannot attend in person, we would like to extend a special way for you to provide kids with coats they will surely need this winter. Please bring any gently used or new coat/jacket to the Bayou Storage 112 W. 11th St. main office, and we will get it to them on Oct 28th! The coats are cleaned and distributed to various charities. Any size coat will work.

The Coats for Kids Spooktacular is the kickoff event for Kiwanis Club of Lake Charles's 30th year of collecting coats for the benefit of local charities. We will have food, music, a raffle, a silent auction, and, of course, beer available for purchase from the fantastic Crying Eagle Brewing.
Bring a coat donation of any size, child or adult, to receive a free Crying Eagle drinking glass and free entry into our raffle.
Each year, Kiwanis of Lake Charles collects ~1000 coats via donation boxes at various local schools and businesses. The coats are all cleaned and prepped by the staff at AAA Drive-In Cleaners before being delivered to their final destinations in the hands of those who need them.
All proceeds from the event will go to the benefit of the following local organizations:
